Pet Loss Therapy & Grief Support

Compassionate support for adults grieving the loss of a beloved animal companion or facing a difficult end-of-life decision.

I help people navigate one of life's most painful transitions with compassion, mindfulness, and a space where the love you shared with your pet is honored.

Why I offer pet loss support

Like many of the people I work with, I've experienced the heartbreak of saying goodbye to beloved pets. I know what it's like to make difficult decisions, to come home to a house that suddenly feels too quiet, and to miss the routines and moments that once felt so ordinary.

Those experiences deepened my appreciation for just how meaningful these relationships are and how easily this kind of grief can be overlooked or misunderstood.

That's why I created this space.

As a licensed clinical social worker and fellow pet lover, I offer compassionate support for people navigating the loss of a cherished companion. My hope is to provide a place where you can talk openly about your pet, honor the bond you shared, and sit with you in your grief.

You don't have to explain why this hurts so much.

You don't have to worry that your grief is "too much" or that you should be further along.

You simply deserve a place where your love, your loss, and your memories are welcomed.

What support can look like

Together we may explore:

  • coping with the days immediately after a loss

  • preparing for euthanasia or other end-of-life decisions

  • navigating guilt, regret, anger, or relief

  • adjusting to life after the loss of a daily companion

  • honoring your pet through meaningful rituals and remembrance

  • reconnecting with yourself while carrying your pet's memory forward

Our work is guided by your needs. Some people want space simply to talk. Others are looking for practical coping strategies, mindfulness practices, or support making difficult decisions. There is no right way to grieve.

If you’re ready to…

Feel understood by people who truly "get it."

Virtual Pet Loss Support Circle

Compassionate support for anyone grieving the loss of a beloved dog, cat, or other animal companion.

Relaunching Aug 2026

Date and Time TBD

Grief can feel incredibly isolating—especially when others don't understand why losing a pet hurts so deeply.

Our monthly support circle offers a welcoming space to connect with others who understand, share stories if you choose, learn gentle ways to care for yourself, and remember the companions who changed your life.

Whether your loss was recent or years ago, you are welcome.
