Therapy Rooted in Mindfulness, for People Who Carry a Lot
Each service at KWD Wellness is crafted with caregivers, healthcare professionals, therapists, and others navigating periods of responsibility, transition, and quiet strain in mind. I understand the emotional weight people often carry, long before anything looks “wrong” from the outside, and I offer therapy that honors lived experience with presence, care, and respect.
My approach is grounded in trauma-sensitive mindfulness and offers space to process grief, trauma, and burnout while finding steadier footing through life’s turning points. I recognize that mindfulness can be both supportive and activating, which is why the work is paced, embodied, and guided with close attention to nervous system safety, choice, and readiness.
Feeling Overwhelmed, Depleted, or Done.
Burnout isn’t just about stress—it’s about emotional depletion, decision fatigue, and losing sight of the parts of you that once felt steady.
Whether you’re a therapist, nurse, caregiver, or leader in a helping profession, burnout can creep in slowly and leave you disconnected from joy and meaning. I offer trauma-informed, mindfulness-based therapy to help you reset your nervous system, create emotional boundaries, and reconnect with purpose—without pushing through. Let’s build a path back to sustainable care, for others and for yourself.
Navigating Grief Others May Not Understand.
Grief isn’t always loud—it can be quiet, layered, and deeply personal.
You might be grieving the loss of a patient, a pet, a family member, a job/career, or even a part of your identity. Perhaps you’re mourning the dream of a different path, or the way your work used to feel. This is a space where all grief is honored, even when it’s ambiguous, unspoken, or invisible. I’ll walk with you as you make sense of what you’ve lost—and gently support you in holding space for both sorrow and healing.
The Cost of Caring Is Real—And You Don’t Have to Carry It Alone.
You hold so much for others. It’s time to have someone hold space for you.
Compassion fatigue isn’t failure—it’s a signal that you need tending too. I work with helpers and healers who feel emotionally worn down by the care they give. Together, we’ll explore how to restore your inner resources, reconnect with self-compassion, and find your center again. If you’re also experiencing imposter syndrome or wondering if you’re “doing enough,” therapy can help you remember that you are not alone—and you are enough.
Reclaiming Safety, Strength, and Your Story
Healing from trauma isn’t just about time—it’s about the right support and approach.
You’ve been holding so much for so long—it makes sense that you feel tired, disconnected, or unsure where to begin. I offer a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based space where you can safely explore your experiences, at a pace that feels right. Whether you're carrying the weight of moral injury, unresolved grief, or past trauma, our work will focus on rebuilding safety, resilience, and trust—in yourself and in the world around you.
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive”
- Dalai Lama
